As the market leader for refractory products and solutions, we presented our latest innovation and technologies at METEC India at the end of November. More than 200 senior executives from the Steel and NFM industry visited our booth and engaged with our Sales and Marketing & Solutions team in conversations on refractories for the 21st century.
At the leading fair of the metal industry, we created a digitally engaging environment at our booth to showcase our full range of refractory products and solutions. A large interactive video wall displayed our products for steel, stainless steel and foundry segments. A touch screen interface was created to present our digital solutions like APO, e-tech, LSM, Gatherer, Connected Machines and TaaS. A live demo of our Customer Portal was given to the customers at our booth. Our robots in action in a virtual shopfloor was demonstrated to the customers using Virtual Realty solutions, which drew lot of interest from the customers.
On the third day of the show, MD & CEO, RHI Magnesita India Parmod Sagar participated as one of the panelists along with other industry leaders in the conference on "Vision 2047 - Mission 500 MT Steel Production - The Journey Ahead". He highlighted the crucial role refractory makers need to play in making India realize the vision of 500 MT per annum steel production by 2047. During the technical sessions of the conference Bruna Maia from the regional team and Gregor Lammer from the Global team made a detailed presentation on our digital solutions for refractory performance improvement.
