RHI Magnesita India Limited has three state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities that serve customers across India and in international markets. The plant situated at Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, manufactures Isostatically pressed continuous casting refractories, slide gate plates, nozzles, etc. This also has an allied plant in Salem run under franchise arrangement, that produces monolithics. The plant situated in Vizag, Andhra Pradesh, manufactures Fire Clay & High Alumina Refractories.

Both the plants are ISO 9001 certified and delivers best in quality products for our customers. The third plant situated at Cuttack, Odisha makes high quality Magnesia Carbon Bricks. The plants use high grade imported as well as domestic raw materials which are put into stringent quality checks as per RHI Magnesita Group Global Quality process and standards.

Bhiwadi Plant

Operational since 1986, the Bhiwadi plant is spread over 27 acres of land. The 50,000 MTPA capacity facility is divided into 3 independent sub-divisions, one each for the manufacture of slide gate plates, continuous casting refractories and castables & pre-cast shapes. The plant currently produces more than 60000 pieces of Isostatic products, more than 1,40,000 pieces of slide plates and more than 1,33,000 pieces of nozzles & well blocks per month. Additionally, more than 2000 MTPA of castables and pre cast products is manufactured in the facility.

Vizag Plant

The plant started commercial production in 2007. current production capacity of the plant is 72000 MTPA and produces Fire Clay and High Alumina Refractory products like Hydrolic Pressed Bricks, Gas Stirring Lances, Repair, Construction and Casting Mixes, Mortars, Slide Gates, Well Blocks etc. The plant is equipped with best in class machineries like ESP 630 T, ESP 1000 T, Hydraulic Press 1250T, Hydraulic Press 1600T, Forberg Mixer, Hobart Mixture, HMT Lathe etc.

Cuttack Plant

The 18,000 MTPA capacity Magnesia Carbon Bricks manufacturing facility was acquired by RHI Magnesita from Manishri Refractories & Ceramics Pvt. Ltd. in August, 2019 through an Asset Purchase Agreement. RHIM further invested on the facility to make it production ready from end of 2019. The plant has excellent facilities like, Milling & Grinding units, modern mixing units, precision presses (SACMI etc), Dryer & Tunnel Kilns with complete PLC controlled. Spread over an area of 9.8 acres, the facility will also house a recycling unit in near future.
